Not a fan of the story but it helped tremendously for school.
This translation version saved my life. Definitely recommend for those struggling through the old spanish version.
This is not a bad edition of Clarín's masterpiece. It includes the long prologue (which is omitted in some other inexpensive editions of this book) and the formatting is OK (some other editions get tripped up over initial inverted exclamation and question marks). There is however no table of contents, linked or otherwise.
Great view into Turn of the Century Spain. Well written.
